In a tragic incident in Tehsil Mamond of Bajaur district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, five police personnel lost their lives, and ten others sustained injuries when a bomb targeted their vehicle on Monday morning.
The police party was en route to provide security for vaccinators participating in an anti-polio campaign in the Bailut Farsh area of Tehsil Mamond when their truck was struck by an explosion.
Initial reports from a local hospital indicate two fatalities, while police investigators, confirming a remote-controlled bomb, collect evidence at the blast site.
