Attaullah Tarar Says India Still Conspiring as Pakistan Achieves Major Diplomatic Successes, highlighting that despite India’s continuous hostility, Pakistan’s diplomatic achievements have gained global recognition and strengthened the country’s international standing.
Speaking at a seminar in Islamabad titled “Pakistan’s Diplomatic Achievements,” Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said that those who have served the nation on the diplomatic front will always be remembered for their contributions. He praised Pakistan’s foreign service as one of the best in the world, known for its professionalism, commitment, and proud traditions.
“Diplomacy is not just learned — it is mastered through experience, patience, and national dedication. Our diplomats have consistently made Pakistan shine on the global stage,” Tarar said, expressing pride in how Pakistan’s foreign service continues to uphold its legacy.
He underscored that Pakistan has made immense sacrifices in the fight against terrorism, suffering more than any other country. “Pakistan was falsely accused of promoting terrorism. After the Pahalgam incident, fingers were pointed at us once again, but Pakistan itself is the biggest victim of terrorism,” he noted.
Tarar added that the prime minister offered India an independent investigation into the Pahalgam attack, a move widely supported by friendly countries. “Through our diplomatic efforts, Pakistan received overwhelming global backing. Under the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir, we stood strong and defeated an adversary four times our size,” he said.
He further revealed that Pakistan’s coast guards recently arrested an Indian spy sailor who confessed to being used by Indian intelligence agencies — a reminder that India continues to hatch conspiracies against Pakistan.
“When war was imposed on Pakistan, our armed forces responded decisively and proved their unmatched capability,” Tarar asserted.
The minister also hailed the prime minister’s recent visit to Saudi Arabia as a key milestone, resulting in the signing of a strategic economic framework that will strengthen Pakistan’s economic and trade relations. “Our focus is to promote foreign investment, build stronger ties with Central Asian states, and utilize our ports to expand trade routes. Pakistan is ready to achieve new economic heights through strong diplomacy and international cooperation,” he concluded.
