Australia Announce 17-Member T20 Squad for Pakistan Tour

Australia have announced a 17-member T20 squad for their upcoming tour of Pakistan, scheduled from January 29 to February 1.

Key Australian players Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, and Tim David will miss the Pakistan tour due to injuries. According to selectors, the players have been given additional time to regain full fitness ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup, which is why they will not take part in the short Pakistan series.

The three-match T20 International series between Pakistan and Australia will be played in Lahore. All matches will start at 4:00 PM Pakistan Standard Time.

The Australian team will be led by all-rounder Mitchell Marsh. The squad includes Sean Abbott, Xavier Bartlett, Mahli Beardman, Cooper Connolly, Ben Dwarshuis, Jack Edwards, Cameron Green, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Matthew Kuhnemann, and Mitch Owen, among others.

Cricket fans in Pakistan are eagerly awaiting the series, which is expected to attract strong viewership ahead of the T20 World Cup preparations.
