PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) Friday issued a notice to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on the contempt petition of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and sought its response. PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Thursday filed a contempt of court petition against the Election Commission of Pakistan in Peshawar High Court for failing to issue certificate of the party’s intra-party election results and the restoration of the Bat symbol. The Peshawar High Court (PHC) had recently restored the Bat symbol for the PTI and directed the Election Commission of Pakistan to publish the results of the intra-party elections on its official website.
