PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) Friday issued a notice to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on the contempt petition of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and sought its response. SWABI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) local leader Shah Khalid has been killed by unknown armed men in Swabi. In a firing incident, Tehreek-e-Insaf’s district leader and renowned business personality Shah Khaled Jan was killed. Unknown motorcyclists opened fire on Shah Khaled’s car in Swabi Ada. PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Thursday filed a contempt of court petition against the Election Commission of Pakistan in Peshawar High Court for failing to issue certificate of the party’s intra-party election results and the restoration of the Bat symbol. The Peshawar High Court (PHC) had recently restored the Bat symbol for the PTI and directed the Election Commission of Pakistan to publish the results of the intra-party elections on its official website.
