MULTAN:  Chaudhry Naeem Ibrahim, a Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA), was detained upon his arrival from Sharjah at Multan Airport. This development is particularly crucial as Ibrahim recently submitted nomination papers for both National and Provincial Assembly constituencies in anticipation of the upcoming general elections. Police officials have registered a case against PTI leader Chaudhry Naeem Ibrahim for allegedly occupying a plot, leading to his arrest. PESHAWAR: Nine people that include a woman and eight children were killed after fire ripped through a house in Abbottabad district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, rescue officials  and local police said on Sunday.
