The unfortunate incident occurred at 6:30 pm in Hudur Pari area of Chilas Diamer Division, Gilgit-Baltistan. According to Deputy Commissioner Diamer, unidentified attackers opened indiscriminate firing upon a passenger bus traveling along the Karakoram Highway in the Hudur Pari area of Chilas, killing eight people were killed and 26 others wounded as a result.
