QUETTA: Four terrorists were killed in a gun battle between terrorists and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) police in Balochistan on Thursday. The incident occurred on Pasni Road in Turbat, where CTD officials engaged with the alleged terrorists. Reports indicate that four individuals, purportedly members of a terrorist outfit, lost their lives in the exchange of fire. According to the report, the CTD did not incur any casualties. ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has declared Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) intra-party elections null and void, ordering a reelection within 20 days. ISLAMABAD: In a response submitted to the Supreme Court, Mashreq Bank of the United Arab Emirates clarified that the £190 million transferred from the United Kingdom was not intended for the government of Pakistan. LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has launched legal proceedings against Moonis Elahi, the former federal minister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the son of incarcerated PTI President Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi. KARACHI: The Sindh High Court has once again reinstated the ban on broadcasting Imran Khan’s speeches. BAJAUR:  A powerful explosion took place in Maminzo area of Khar Tehsil of Bajaur, killing one person as result. Local police said that a roadside explosion hit a car  in which vehicle was completely destroyed. Eyewitnesses said that the explosion was so powerful that the pieces of the vehicle collided. The incident is currently under investigation by the police. It’s worth noting that Bajaur experienced a previous explosion during a rally some time ago, leading to the tragic loss of dozens of lives.
