KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a remarkable surge as the benchmark KSE-100 Index exceeded the 53,000 mark during intra-day trading, surpassing the previous record set in May 2017. D.I. KHAN:  At least six people were killed and 22 others injured an explosion near a police vehicle in Dera Ismail Khan district on Friday. The blast, near Tank Adda in D.I. Khan city, targeted a police van and was followed by gunfire. Initial reports suggest the explosive device was planted on a motorbike. The injured were taken to the district headquarters hospital.
