A three-member new IHC bench took up the plea today filed against Khan for not disclosing his alleged daughter in the nomination papers filed for contesting 2018 general elections. ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has repatriated 347 more citizens from Kyrgyzstan following violence in Bishkek. Flight ANK-4575 landed at Islamabad International Airport from Bishkek early Tuesday morning, and Pakistan International Airlines flight PK-6252 also arrived with 167 students. In total, 347 Pakistani students were brought back from Bishkek. To date, Pakistan has airlifted 810 students through five flights. LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday approved the bail plea of former Punjab chief minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in a case relating to illegal appointments in the Punjab Assembly. ISLAMABAD: Power consumers are likely to see a significant tariff increase of Rs 3.49 per unit due to the fuel charges adjustment (FCA) for April 2024. The Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA), representing power distribution companies (DISCOs), has submitted an application to the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) for this increase.
