GILGIT: A tragic accident occurred when a vehicle carrying dam workers lost control and plunged into the Gilgit River, resulting in the tragic loss of five lives. The workers were on their way to the dam site when the vehicle met with the fatal accident.  All five occupants, including the driver, sadly lost their lives in the incident. Local volunteers sprang into action, assisting in the recovery of the deceased from the river.  The incident has sent shockwaves through the community. GHOTKI: A devastating collision between a passenger bus and a trailer truck on the In Sukkur-Multan motorway the early hours of Monday has resulted in the loss of at least 8 lives, with 10 others injured. CHAGAI: In Balochistan have identified five bodies found with gunshot wounds as former Afghan security personnel. The individuals had been missing for several months, and a video had surfaced in which they appeared to confess to involvement in the killing of a Pakistani citizen. The bodies have been returned to their families. The discovery was made in the Sorgal area of Dalbadin, where police recovered the bodies and transported them to a hospital for formalities. This incident follows a similar discovery in the Bolan district of Balochistan last year, where three unidentified bodies were found with gunshot wounds.”

PESHAWAR: The good governance committee in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has initiated an inquiry into allegations of misconduct against certain provincial ministers. The initiative aims to ensure that all SIM cards are registered with valid and up-to-date identification information. The PTA is collaborating with the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to verify the data. Users with affected SIM cards have been notified and advised to update their information to avoid disruption of service.
