The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has submitted solid security evidence to the International Cricket Council (ICC), raising serious concerns about the safety of Bangladeshi cricketers in India.
According to Bangladeshi media reports, the BCB’s legal adviser sent an email to the ICC along with nearly 16 links as supporting material. These links include television reports, YouTube videos, and newspaper coverage, highlighting security threats faced by Bangladeshi players on Indian soil.
The purpose of submitting this evidence is to prove that Bangladesh cricket security concerns in India are real and cannot be ignored.
“If One Player Is Unsafe, How Can the Whole Team Be Safe?”
The BCB legal adviser reportedly questioned the overall safety arrangements, saying that if even one player cannot be guaranteed protection, it is impossible to claim that the entire squad is secure.
The ICC had earlier asked the Bangladesh Cricket Board to provide detailed information regarding its security concerns. In response, the BCB shared this documented evidence to support its position.
Bangladesh Refuses India Tour During T20 World Cup
It is important to note that the Bangladesh Cricket Board has already announced that the national team will not tour India during the T20 World Cup, citing serious security risks.
BCB officials stated that this decision was taken to ensure the safety of players, team officials, and other stakeholders, as well as to maintain a fair and secure sporting environment.
The issue of Bangladesh cricket security concerns in India has now become a major topic of discussion within international cricket circles, with the ICC expected to review the evidence and assess the situation carefully.
