KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Thursday again demanded of the prime minister to take action against three federal ministers for their contacts with the members of banned outfits.
Talking to newsmen after inaugurating plantation campaign Sarsabz Sindh alleged that as many as three federal ministers were in close contact with the members of proscribed organisations and demanded of the prime minister to take action against them.
“These people should not be the cabinet members in Naya Pakistan,” he said. “Opposition has demanded the government to take action against such organsiations. But we doubt the intentions of the government.”
Bilawal said that in a video viral on social media, one of the cabinet members was seen assuring a banned outfit that no action would be taken against them under their watch.
“Rather than helping the poor, the government is involved in the economic killing of the poor,” he said.
He said that the government should sack irresponsible ministries and show seriousness in resolving the issues of the masses. Bilawal said that the shifting of fake account case to Rawalpindi would be a human rights violation.
