Breakaway from Banned Action Committee as Four Former Members Announce Disassociation

Breakaway from banned action committee

Four former members of a banned Joint Action Committee have announced their complete disassociation from the group, marking a clear breakaway from the banned action committee amid growing internal differences.

Former member Ahsan Shabbir Shani said he decided to leave the group after recent violent incidents, adding that he no longer agrees with the decisions of its leadership.

Another former member Mohsin Khalil confirmed that he is no longer part of the committee and urged people from Khari, Mangla, and Mirpur not to associate themselves with the group.

Shabir Nighialvi also announced his resignation, saying their original purpose was to serve the public, but some individuals had diverted the movement in another direction.

Another ex-member, Raja Sultan, stated that he has no connection with the Joint Action Committee and said he had previously cooperated with the administration and would continue to do so in the future.

The announcements highlight a widening breakaway from the banned action committee, with former associates publicly distancing themselves from the group’s leadership and direction.
