Former first lady Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, has filed a plea in the Islamabad High Court against her ex-husband Khawar Maneka’s petition challenging her marriage with Khan.
Through her lawyer, Barrister Salman Akram Raja, Bushra contends that the trial court lacks jurisdiction and asserts that her marriage is not “fraudulent” or un-Islamic.
She argues that Maneka filed the complaint with malice, based on false documents, and requests the court to declare the order of the additional sessions judge East on January 11 as “null and void.
