ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar has summoned cabinet meeting on Monday to address the nation’s political and economic landscape.
The agenda includes the approval of recommendations from the Economic Liaison Committee and validation of the Economic Coordination Committee’s decision on the recent gas tariff hike. Additionally, the cabinet will assess progress on the repatriation of illegal settlers in Pakistan.
Law enforcement agencies will brief the federal cabinet on ongoing operations against unlawful economic activities, and participants will be informed about the agenda for the upcoming IMF meeting next month.
The meeting will also feature a review of the law and order situation in Pakistan.
