Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is set to demolish parts of KP House in Islamabad due to multiple building rule violations.
This decision follows a recent clash involving Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, who accused the Inspector General of Islamabad, Ali Nasir Rizvi, of attacking KP House.
Gandapur claimed that the IG’s actions included torturing a DSP security officer and causing damage to provincial property.
In response to the alleged incident, Gandapur visited the KP Assembly, where he openly criticized the IG Islamabad for what he described as an unjustified assault on KP House.
The CDA’s move to proceed with demolishing portions of the property is seen as part of a broader crackdown on building code violations, with KP House now under scrutiny following this escalating tension.
