Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja asserted the 100 percent transparency and peace in the election, emphasizing that the polling process unfolded smoothly without disruptions.
During his visit to the Election Commission Pakistan’s headquarters, he stated that no citizen faced hindrance in casting their vote.
Addressing potential connectivity issues, Raja explained that presiding officers could go to the returning officer’s office, provide Form 45, and upon uploading it in the Election Management System, the form would be automatically received when internet services were restored.
He highlighted the adherence to the law, stating that time extensions at three polling stations in Gujarat were granted upon the relevant ROs’ requests.
