Chairman NAB should appear before Parliament: Zardari

ISLAMABAD: Former president and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Monday said that he want stronger parliament adding that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman should appear before the parliament. “Time has come to ask NAB chief to come here.”
Speaking in the National Assembly, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Zardari said, “I do not want to see Maryam Nawaz and others who are anyone’s daughter and sisters.”
Zardari said that they had to make parliament stronger. “I did so in the past. I want to work for the parliament and the democracy and will continue to do so,” he said and added “We have to give respect to the parliament.”
Zardari lambasted PM Imran Khan’s government, saying “Not a single department of PTI government is working perfectly.”
About extension in military courts, Zardari said “Our party chairman has very clear viewpoint on it. We will consider on it if government contacts.”
