PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet has decided to conduct a new Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT 2023) due to allegations of widespread cheating during the previous exam held on September 10.
This choice to re-administer the medical and dental college entrance test was made during a provincial cabinet meeting. The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Wednesday ordered the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa advocate general to provide the decision made by the provincial cabinet in this regard.
A bench of the PHC, composed of Justice Abdul Shakoor and Justice Syed Arshad Ali, has postponed the hearing of approximately 85 petitions filed by numerous candidates with various requests. The hearing is scheduled for today.
Advocate General told the PHC that the interim provincial cabinet has decided to retake the test in six weeks.
