Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir met UAE Deputy Ruler and National Security Adviser Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi to discuss bilateral cooperation, regional security, and economic collaboration, according to a statement.
The meeting covered ways to further strengthen cooperation across multiple sectors. Both sides discussed economic partnership, investment opportunities, and security collaboration. They also exchanged views on the regional situation and stressed the importance of continued coordination to promote peace and stability.
Field Marshal Asim Munir thanked the UAE leadership for decades of investment and consistent support for Pakistan’s economy and security. He said the partnership reflects deep historical ties and acknowledged the UAE’s role in supporting Pakistan’s economic and social development.
Munir reaffirmed that the security and stability of the United Arab Emirates are closely linked with Pakistan’s own security interests, underscoring the strong strategic partnership between the two countries.
Both leaders reiterated their commitment to expanding cooperation in all fields to safeguard mutual interests and promote regional peace and prosperity.
