CJCSC General Sahir Shamshad Mirza Meets Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir in a formal farewell ceremony at the General Headquarters (GHQ) today, marking the conclusion of a significant chapter in Pakistan’s military leadership.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir HJ commended General Sahir Shamshad Mirza for his outstanding leadership, professional excellence, and strategic vision during his long service with the Pakistan Armed Forces.
The Army Chief highlighted that under General Sahir’s command, coordination among all three branches of the military strengthened significantly. Joint operational readiness improved, and key national security objectives advanced effectively.

Field Marshal Munir also lauded General Sahir Shamshad Mirza for his pivotal role in promoting regional stability, military diplomacy, and strengthening defense relations with allied countries.
