LAHORE/KARACHI: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP), Justice Mian Saqib Nisar on Saturday has ordered to exhume the body of seven-year-old Mubashara – who was raped and murdered in Jaranwala – for re-postmortem.
During the hearing of Mubashara’s case, CJP directed Medical Superintendent of Allied Hospital in Faisalabad to carry out autopsy of the minor girl.
The court has also sought report of girl’s forensic samples in next hearing.
Mubashara was murdered after being raped in Jaranwala few days back.
The CJP has expressed resentment over the investigation officers for not solving the case timely over which the Inspector General Punjab said that they are probing the case through all the angles.
On the other hand, the Sindh High Court (SHC) has taken notice of the gang rape of a Hindu boy and making video of the act in Darro area of Sajawal district.
The court has summoned high police officials in the case and are expected to appear in the court today.
