PESHAWAR: After consultation with the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has finalized a 15-member KP cabinet.
According to the notification, 15 members and two advisors were included in the KP cabinet. A few ministers were part of the previous cabinet, while majority new faces were also included.
Aqibullah Khan, brother of Asad Qaisar, and Faisal Khan Tarakai, brother of Sharam Khan Tarakai, were also included in the cabinet. Fazli Hakim Khan, and Fazali Shakoor were part of the previous Mehmood Khan cabinet.
The swearing-in ceremony for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet will take place today.
Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur engaged in talks with PTI founder Imran Khan at Adiala Jail a day earlier to discuss the political dynamics in the province. Names for the KP cabinet, including Mushtaq Ghani, among others, have received approval for several ministerial slots.
Talking to media after meeting with Imran Khan, Gandapur has pledged to prioritize steps aimed at fostering security, peace, and prosperity across the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Meanwhile, the swearing-in ceremony for the Punjab Cabinet will take place at the Governor’s House today at 4 pm. As per media reports, Punjab Governor Muhammad Balighur Rahman will take oath from the provincial ministers.
PML-N Vice President and Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has unveiled the lineup for her cabinet. In Punjab province, the initial phase will witness the oath-taking of fifteen ministers, with a focus on key ministries.
