Pakistan’s Army Chief, General Asim Munir, declared that no terrorist force—even over ten generations—can threaten Balochistan or Pakistan as long as the nation’s brave citizens stand united with the armed forces. Speaking at the first Overseas Pakistanis Convention in Islamabad, he emphasized that courage and unity remain Pakistan’s strongest defenses.
“Our brave people are our pride,” General Munir stated, addressing the diaspora. He praised overseas Pakistanis as ambassadors and “beacons of light” for the country, urging them to pass down Pakistan’s founding story to future generations. Dismissing claims of “brain drain,” he reframed their global success as “brain gain,” highlighting their role in elevating Pakistan’s global stature.
The Army Chief condemned attempts to destabilize Pakistan, questioning whether “a handful of terrorists” could dictate the nation’s fate. “Balochistan is Pakistan’s destiny and crown,” he asserted. “With our courageous citizens and soldiers standing shoulder-to-shoulder, no challenge is insurmountable.” He credited divine blessings for Pakistan’s abundant resources and vowed to dismantle any obstacle to progress.
General Munir urged pride in Pakistan’s identity, calling it a “powerful, exceptional nation.” He reaffirmed Kashmir as Pakistan’s “jugular vein” and solidarity with Gaza’s Muslims. “True Pakistanis never cower in adversity,” he said, stressing resilience rooted in the sacrifices of martyrs.
The Army Chief concluded with a rallying cry for rapid development, insisting Pakistan’s rise is inevitable. “Our journey isn’t about if we progress, but how fast,” he declared. The event closed with chants of “Pakistan Zindabad,” echoing his faith in the nation’s fearless spirit.
