Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir on Thursday extended heartfelt gratitude to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their steadfast support to Pakistan during a high-level meeting with Khalid Bin Abdulaziz Al Falih, the Minister of Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi minister, accompanied by a high-ranking government and business delegation, discussed matters of mutual interest with the Army Chief, focusing on enhancing the ever-growing brotherly cooperation between the two nations across multiple sectors.
The Army Chief highlighted the deep respect and affection the people of Pakistan have for Saudi Arabia, terming the visit of one of the largest Saudi business delegations to Pakistan as a testament to the strong and enduring ties between the two countries, according to a press release by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
He expressed his optimism about the positive outcomes of the bilateral initiatives, assuring the delegation of Pakistan’s full support and commitment to furthering cooperation that would be beneficial for both nations.
The visit of the Saudi high-level delegation to Pakistan marked a significant milestone in the bilateral relations between the two brotherly nations.
