Lahore: Cold and dry weather is expected to continue across most parts of the country, while very cold conditions are likely in hilly areas, according to the weather outlook.
Dense to moderate fog is expected in the plains of Punjab, upper Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while mist may develop at a few locations in Potohar region and Kashmir during the morning hours.
In Islamabad, the weather will remain cold and dry, with fog likely during night and early morning hours.
Across Punjab, most districts will experience cold and dry conditions, while Murree, Galiyat, and surrounding areas are expected to remain severely cold. Moderate to dense fog is likely in Sialkot, Narowal, Jhelum, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Okara, Kasur, Sahiwal, Khanewal, Faisalabad, Jhang, Layyah, Bhakkar, Noorpur Thal, DG Khan, Rajanpur, Shorkot, Multan, Kot Addu, Bahawalnagar, Khanpur, Bahawalpur, and Rahim Yar Khan.
In Sindh, most districts will remain cold and dry, while moderate to dense fog is expected in and around Sukkur, Rohri, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Shaheed Benazirabad, Dadu, Larkana, Tandojam, Mohenjo Daro, and nearby areas.
Most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will also experience cold and dry weather, with very cold conditions in hilly areas. Fog is likely in and around Peshawar, Mardan, Nowshera, Charsadda, Swabi, Bannu, Karak, Lakki Marwat, and Dera Ismail Khan.
In Gilgit-Baltistan, the weather is expected to remain very cold and dry.
In Azad Kashmir, cold and dry conditions will prevail, with mist likely at a few places during the morning hours.
