Committee formed to probe Hotel Afandi blast
PESHAWAR, PAKISTAN, MAY 11: Views of venue after powerful explosion at a local hotel located on GT Road in Peshawar on Friday, May 11, 2018. At least five people, women among them, were killed and two others seriously wounded in a powerful blast at a hotel in the provincial capital Peshawar. According to rescue and police sources, the blast occurred at around 3:00 am on the third floor of the hotel located at GT Road. As a result, five people were killed while two others suffered serious wounds.

PESHAWAR: Deputy Commissioner Peshawar, Dr. Imran Hamid Sheikh Saturday constituted a committee to probe the gas leakage blast of Afandi Hotel Peshawar.
Assistant Commissioner Peshawar, Muhammad Mughis would head the committee while other members are included Assistant Commissioner Town I and representatives of police and Civil Defense department.
The committee has been directed to submit report of the incident in three days.
It may be mentioned that five persons lost their lives in a blast that occurred on fourth floor of Afanddi hotel a day back.
