Congressman Al Green has introduced a resolution in the US Congress praising Pakistan for its diplomatic efforts to promote peace during tensions involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.

The resolution, presented on Wednesday, recognizes Pakistan as a neutral and dependable country working to encourage dialogue at a time when the conflict has caused heavy casualties, displacement, and economic damage across the region.

Congressman Al Green said the world should acknowledge countries trying to reduce violence and support peace. He added that Pakistan’s role as a neutral partner shows that diplomacy remains the best way to prevent further destruction and protect innocent lives affected by the conflict.

According to the resolution, Pakistan’s involvement highlights the importance of dialogue over military escalation. The move also reflects growing international attention on diplomatic solutions to regional tensions.

Earlier, Pakistan’s Foreign Office also expressed hope regarding a possible agreement between the United States and Iran. During a weekly briefing, Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi said Pakistan remains optimistic about a positive outcome from ongoing contacts between the two sides.

He explained that details of the exchanges could not be shared at this stage. However, he noted that discussions were continuing and it was still unclear whether the final agreement would be brief or more detailed.

The development comes as diplomatic efforts continue to avoid further instability in the region and encourage peaceful negotiations between global powers.
