Lieutenant General Syed Imdad Hussain Shah, Corps Commander Gujranwala, held a special session with madrassa teachers and students to highlight the crucial role of religious seminaries in society.
During the interactive session, the Corps Commander spoke in detail on a range of important topics. He shed light on the Pakistan Army’s historic success in the recent “Operation Bunyān al-Marsūs” against Indian aggression, the relevance of the Indus Waters Treaty, the ongoing Israeli confrontations with Palestine and Iran, and the harmful effects of social media propaganda.
General Imdad Hussain Shah commended the students of religious institutions for excelling not only in Islamic studies but also in various other fields. He stressed that education should not be limited to worldly success but must also instill moral and social responsibility.
Emphasizing the need for national unity, peace, stability, and inter-sectarian harmony, he called on the youth and scholars to contribute positively to society.
The Corps Commander responded to questions from teachers and students with well-reasoned and comprehensive answers. On the occasion, participants also paid tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces for their significant achievements and praised their steadfastness in defending the nation.
