ISLAMABAD: A local court in Islamabad on Wednesday approved bail pela of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Fawad Chaudhry.
The court ordered Fawad Chaudhry to deposit a bond of Rs20,000.
Earlier the a local court on Monday last had sent PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry to jail on judicial remand in sedition case.
The PTI leader — who is facing sedition charges for publicly “threatening” the members of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in a media talk — was arrested from his Lahore residence on January 25 after a case was registered against him at the Kohsar Police Station.
