ISLAMABAD: In a ruling issued on Thursday, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore has directed the seizure of both movable and immovable assets belonging to proclaimed offenders associated with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Following the ATC’s directives, the properties subject to confiscation include two residential plots and a bank account belonging to PTI’s former provincial minister, Mian Aslam Iqbal. Additionally, five agricultural parcels of land owned by former federal minister Hammad Azhar, and four bank accounts held by Farrukh Habib, are to be seized.
The court has also ordered the confiscation of three agricultural lands, a residential property, five bank accounts, two vehicles, and 35 horses belonging to Ali Amin Gandapur, another PTI leader.
Furthermore, properties of PTI’s Azam Swati are also targeted for seizure, including two agricultural lands, two residential properties, five bank accounts, a vehicle, three plots, flats, 51 percent shares in Swati Enterprises, as well as assets in the United States and Dubai.
Additionally, the properties of PTI leader Andlib Abbas – two residential properties, three bank accounts, and two vehicles – are also slated for confiscation.
