A local court has restored the frozen bank accounts of YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, widely known as Ducky Bhai, in the gambling app promotion case.
The court also granted him conditional permission to upload videos on his YouTube channel.
Ducky Bhai appeared before the court along with his wife and legal team. During the hearing, the judge ordered the restoration of his frozen bank accounts.
The court allowed him to upload videos on his channel but directed that he may only speak about matters related to the case currently under trial.
Authorities informed the court that the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has raised objections to 27 videos on his channel. However, the court did not order their deletion at this stage.
The court summoned NCCIA witnesses for the next hearing. The agency has already submitted the challan in the case.
Due to the absence of the prosecutor, the hearing was adjourned until March 11.
The case relates to allegations of promoting a gambling application through online content.
