The Chief of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), Khurram Waris, reported that apprehended terrorists had elaborate plans to target the Karachi-Rohri train.
The detained individuals, associated with a proscribed group known as Ashraf (aka Achoo) and Zeeshan Hameed, were also scheming to kidnap a fruit dealer in interior Sindh, intending to relocate him to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), as revealed by the CTD in charge.

Subsequently, explosive materials were seized from the arrested terrorists who had allegedly received training in bomb-making from Afghanistan.
