Durrani's alleged frontmen arrested in illegal recruitment case

ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested two alleged frontmen of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Akram Khan Durrani in illegal recruitment case, while accountability court approved 13-day physical remand.
Member Departmental Selection Committee and Chief Admin Officer Pakistan Public Works Department (PWD) Mukhtar Badshah Khattak and Muhammad Atif Malik were presented before the court where the NAB sought 14-day physical remand.
NAB prosecutor apprised the court about Badshah and Malik who played a key role in illegal recruitments by issuing fake domiciles with malafide intentions in Pak PWD.
The prosecutor said the accused had been meeting with Akram Durrani and the role of former federal minister is yet to be found. Judge Mohammad Bashir heard the case and approved the 13-day physical remand of both the accused.
