ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has postponed the hearing on the case seeking the removal of Imran Khan as the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief until November 9.
In a session chaired by ECP Chief Sikandar Sultan Raja, a five-member bench considered the case involving the removal of Imran Khan from his position as Chairman of PTI.
The commission queried Imran Khan’s lawyer about the power of attorney. Barrister Gohar responded, stating that due to Imran Khan being in jail, authorities only permit meetings on Thursdays, and he will submit the answer during the next hearing.
ECP noted that a similar case had been previously adjudicated by the Election Commission.
