LAHORE: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has unveiled the final lineup of candidates for the Senate elections in Punjab, specifically in Lahore.
In the race for two seats reserved for Lahore Technocrats, three notable contenders have emerged: Federal Minister of Finance Mohammad Aurangzeb, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) representative Musaddik Malik, and Dr. Yasmin Rashid from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Meanwhile, on the ballot for the two reserved seats for women, four candidates are vying for victory: Anushay Rehman, Bushra Anjum Butt, Faiza Malik, and Sanam Javed.
Lastly, the contest for the minority seat features Khalil Tahir Sindhu and Asif Ashiq from the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC), who are both competing for the position.
