On 4th and 5th May 2025, eight terrorists were eliminated during a series of anti-terror operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The security forces carried out these successful engagements in four different districts.
An intelligence-based operation (IBO) took place in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan. During the raid, Pakistani troops engaged a known terrorist hideout. As a result, three militants were killed on the spot.
In another anti-terror operation in South Waziristan, security forces neutralized two more extremists. During this fierce exchange of fire, Naik Mujahid Khan, a 40-year-old soldier from Kohat, embraced martyrdom. He fought with exceptional bravery before making the ultimate sacrifice.
Two additional clashes occurred in the Khyber and Bannu districts. These encounters resulted in the death of three more militants.
Weapons, explosives, and ammunition were recovered from the slain individuals. These terrorists were involved in several attacks on security forces and the targeted killing of innocent citizens.
Sanitization efforts are ongoing in the affected regions. These anti-terror operations aim to eliminate any remaining threats. The Pakistan Army remains committed to ending terrorism once and for all.
Each drop of blood shed by our soldiers only strengthens the nation’s resolve. The ongoing crackdown against militants will continue until full peace is restored. Security forces are firm in their mission to crush terrorism from its roots.
These counter-terrorism efforts, especially in the tribal belt, reflect Pakistan’s zero-tolerance policy. Every anti-terror operation is a step forward in the fight for national security and peace.
