ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has released the final list of constituencies for the upcoming elections in the country.
As per the list, the National Assembly will have 266 general seats, while the provincial assemblies across the country will have 593 general seats.
For the National Assembly, Islamabad will have three general seats, Punjab 141, Sindh 61, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 45, and Balochistan 16. Additionally, there will be 60 seats for women and 10 reserved seats for minorities in the National Assembly.
Punjab Final List of Constituencies
As per the recently unveiled list of constituencies by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Punjab’s Attock district will have two National Assembly seats, Rawalpindi six, and a combined seat for Rawalpindi and Murree.
Chakwal will be represented by one NA seat, while Talagang and Chakwal jointly will have one seat. Jhelum will contribute two seats, and Gujarat will have four National Assembly seats.
Wazirabad and Hafizabad will each have one seat, Mandi Bhauddin two, Sialkot five, Narowal two, and Gujranwala five seats.
Sargodha’s representation in the National Assembly will be five seats, Khushab two, Mianwali two, and both Bhakkar and Chiniot will have two seats each.
Faisalabad’s allocation is 10 seats, Toba Tek Singh three, Jhang three, Nankana Sahib two, and Sheikhupura four.
Lahore will boast 14 seats in the National Assembly, Kasur four, Okara four, Pakpattan two, Sahiwal three, Khanewal four, and Multan will contribute six seats.
Lodhran will have two seats, while Vehari will have four, Bahawalnagar four, and Bahawalpur five. Rahim Yar Khan will secure six seats, Muzaffargarh four, Kot Addu two, Leh two, and Taunsa one.
Dera Ghazi Khan is slated to have three National Assembly seats, while Rajanpur will also be represented by three seats according to the finalized list by the ECP.
Sindh Final List of Constituencies
In Sindh, there are a total of 61 general seats in the National Assembly, as outlined in the recently released list of constituencies by the Election Commission.
Jacobabad district will be represented by one National Assembly seat, while Jacobabad and Kashmore together will constitute one constituency.
Shikarpur will have one National Assembly seat, and the combination of Kashmore and Shikarpur will also have one seat. Larkana and Qanbar Shahdadkot will jointly contribute two National Assembly seats.
Ghotki will have three seats, Sukkur two, and Khairpur three. Nowshehro Feroze and Shaheed Benazirabad will each have two seats.
Sanghar will be represented by two National Assembly seats, Mirpur Khas by two, Umarkot by one, and Tharparkar by two.
Additionally, there will be one seat each for Matiari, Tando Alhiyar, Tando Mohammad Khan, Sajawal, Thatta, and Jamshoro.
Hyderabad will have three National Assembly seats, Badin two, and Dadu two.
The constituencies in Karachi are distributed as follows: Malir district will have three seats, Korangi three, Karachi East four, Karachi South four, Kemari two, Karachi West three, and Karachi Central four National Assembly seats.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Final List of Constituencies
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, there are a total of 45 general seats in the National Assembly, as per the final list of new constituencies released by the Election Commission.
Lower and Upper Chitral each will have one National Assembly seat, Swat three, Upper Dir one, and Lower Dir two. Additionally, Bajaur, Malakand, Bunir, Shangla, and Bitgram will each have one seat.
Upper Kohistan, Lower Kohistan, and Kolai Pass Kohistan will collectively have one seat for the National Assembly, while Mansehra and Tor Ghar will share one seat. Mansehra, Abbottabad, and Haripur will have one seat each.
Swabi will contribute two seats, Mardan three, Charsadda two, Mohmand and Khyber one each.
Peshawar is allocated five National Assembly seats, Nowshera two, and Kohat one.
Hangu and Orakzai will each have one seat in the National Assembly. Kurram, Karak, Bannu, North Waziristan, and Lakki Marwat will have one seat each.
Upper and Lower South Waziristan will jointly have one seat, while Tank and Dera Ismail Khan will share one National Assembly Constituency. Dera Ismail Khan will also have two National Assembly seats.
Balochistan Final List of Constituencies
In Balochistan, there are a total of 16 general seats in the National Assembly, as per the released list of new constituencies by the Election Commission.
One National Assembly Constituency will encompass Shirani, Zhob, and Qila Saifullah. Similarly, Musakhel, Barkhan, Loralai, and Daki will collectively have one National Assembly seat.
Ziarat, Harnai, Sibi, Kohlu, and Dera Bugti will constitute one National Assembly seat. Jhal Magsi, Kachhi, and Naseerabad will form another NA constituency.
Sohbatpur, Jafarabad, Osta Muhammad, and Naseerabad will share one National Assembly constituency, while Khuzdar will have one seat in the National Assembly.
The National Assembly Constituency comprising Panjgur and Kech Lee will have one seat, and Kich and Gwadar will form one constituency.
Chaghi, Noshki, Kharan, and Washuk will collectively have one National Assembly Constituency, while Sorab, Qallat, and Mastung will share one National Assembly Constituency.
Quetta will have three National Assembly seats, and the constituency comprising Pashin, Qila Abdullah, and Chaman will have one seat.
