ISLAMABAD: Pakistan President Dr. Arif Alvi, arrived at a polling station on Thursday to exercise his voting right in the general elections.
Taking to social media platform X, the President urged citizens to fulfill their Islamic, constitutional, and civic responsibility by casting their votes to elect representatives to the National and Provincial Assemblies. He emphasized the importance of public participation in shaping the country’s future.

President Arif Alvi, accompanied by his family, shared their voting experience and encouraged others to follow suit, stating that Pakistan needs the opinions of its citizens now more than ever. A photo accompanying the post depicted the President and his family standing at the polling station.
Meanwhile, former Prime Minister of Pakistan and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, cast his vote in National Assembly Constituency NA-128 Model Town.
Nawaz Sharif marked his ballot with the election symbol ‘Eagle’ of the Istehkam Pakistan Party (IPP), as part of the seat adjustment between PML-N and IPP in NA-128.
Accompanied by PML-N Chief Organizer, Maryam Nawaz, and IPP leader, Aun Chaudhry, Nawaz Sharif urged the public to come out and vote, stressing the importance of a one-party majority government to address national issues and improve living standards.
Sharif expressed confidence in the efforts of Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shehbaz, highlighting their sacrifices and dedication to the party. He called for an end to the culture of misconduct and pledged to tackle inflation and ensure prosperity for all.
PML-N President, Shehbaz Sharif, also cast his vote in NA-128 Lahore, where he and his wife abstained from voting for the ‘lion’ symbol, as their vote is registered in NA-128.
