England Clinch 22-Run Victory Over India in Thrilling Lord’s Test

England vs India Test Series took a thrilling turn at Lord’s on Monday. England beat India by 22 runs in a nail-biting finish to the third Test. With this victory, England now leads the five-match series 2-1.

The contest lasted till the last session on Day 5. Spinner Shoaib Bashir took the final wicket of Mohammed Siraj. That moment sealed a historic win for the home side.

England’s first innings saw a solid total of 387 runs. Joe Root was the star with a fine century. Brendon Carse and Jamie Smith gave strong support with vital half-centuries.

India responded with equal strength. They also scored 387 runs. KL Rahul led the charge with a brilliant hundred. Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja played key roles by hitting fifties.
