In Lahore, a bundle of sociology part one examination papers has reportedly gone missing from the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) marking center. The missing bundle includes the papers of 52 students.
Media reports indicate that the disappearance was noticed two days ago, prompting an ongoing inquiry. This incident has raised serious concerns about the security and secrecy of the examination department.
In response, the Punjab Teachers’ Union has called for an independent investigation, suggesting that an inquiry officer from outside the Education Department be appointed to ensure a fair probe.
