QUETTA: A powerful explosion near a police vehicle on the Eastern Bypass in Quetta injured nine people, including a police officer, according to reports.
The blast, caused by a remote-controlled device, occurred early this morning and sent shockwaves through the area. Authorities indicated that the explosive was hidden in a motorcycle parked nearby.
The explosion caused significant damage to the police vehicle and a nearby rickshaw. Rescue teams quickly arrived at the scene and transported the injured to a local hospital, with one individual reported to be in critical condition.

Police and security forces have cordoned off the area and launched an investigation into the incident. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet, and law enforcement is working to identify those responsible.
