Faizabad operation: 67 injured shifted to PIMS

ISLAMABAD: As many as 67 injured persons have been shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) on Saturday morning due to receiving injuries from protesters of sit-in of a religious party at Faizabad Interchange during police operation.
Sharing the details, Administrator PIMS Dr Altaf Hussain said that these injured persons included 30 policemen, 10 FC personnel and 26 civilians.
He said that 18 injured persons had been discharged after giving necessary medical treatment while all injured persons were in stable condition and none of any one was in critical condition.
It is pertinent to mention her that both major hospitals of federal capital Federal Government Poly Clinic and PIMS have declared high alert and beds have been allocated beside sufficient quantity of medicines.
Similarly, ambulances have been moved to the Faizabad to shift injured person to the hospitals and other medical services during operation. …APP
