ISLAMABAD: The family of a boy who was killed by a car two years ago in Islamabad set up a protest camp outside the National Press Club, seeking justice for their loss.
The protesters demanded action against those responsible for the death of Shakeel Tanoli, who was killed in a car accident two years ago.
Shakeel’s father, Raffaqat Tanoli, told the media that the police investigation revealed the vehicle involved in the accident was being used by a judge of the Lahore High Court (LHC). He mentioned that they approached the Islamabad High Court (IHC) due to the Islamabad police’s laxity in the proceedings.
It should be noted that two people, including Shakeel Tanoli, were killed after being hit by a speeding vehicle.
