Peshawar: The renowned poet, writer, and literary figure, Laiq Zada Laiq, has sadly departed from this world in Peshawar.
According to his grieving family, Laiq had been battling a severe heart ailment, and tragically, he breathed his last in a Peshawar hospital on the night before last.
As a mark of final respect and tradition, Laiq’s mortal remains are scheduled to be interred today in his familial resting place in Madyan Swat, a place that held a special significance in his heart.
Laiq Zada Laiq’s life was a testament to his literary prowess and dedication. At the time of his passing, he was 64 years old and had authored an impressive collection of 38 books.
His contributions to the world of literature had not gone unnoticed, as he had been honored with a prestigious presidential award.
In recognition of his exceptional literary achievements and cultural contributions, the government of Pakistan bestowed upon him the esteemed Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, a distinction that further solidified his legacy in the realm of literature and the arts. Laiq Zada Laiq’s departure leaves a void in the literary world, but his words and works will continue to inspire generations to come.
