RAWALPINDI: A heated altercation between former minister Fawad Chaudhry and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Barrister Shoaib Shaheen took place outside Adiala Jail, escalating into a physical confrontation.
According to eyewitnesses, the dispute began when Fawad Chaudhry reportedly called Shaheen a “tout.” In response, Shoaib Shaheen advised Fawad to mind his own business. The exchange quickly turned aggressive, and Fawad allegedly slapped Shaheen, causing him to lose balance and fall, reportedly injuring his arm.
Following the scuffle, Fawad Chaudhry proceeded inside the jail, while prison authorities called Shoaib Shaheen in for a discussion with the Superintendent of Adiala Jail.
It is worth noting that Fawad Chaudhry has a history of public altercations, having previously been involved in disputes with journalists Mubashir Luqman and Sami Ibrahim.
