Federal Cabinet to discuss political, economic situation today

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will chair a federal cabinet meeting on Tuesday (tomorrow) in Islamabad to discuss an agenda comprising 17 significant points.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister will brief the cabinet about his upcoming visit of China and Iran while Finance Minister Asad Umar will apprise about the agreement with International Monetary Fund (IMF).
The federal cabinet will review country political, economic and drug prices matter while the cabinet determines venue of Pakistan cultural center at Kartarpur Corridor, wheat purchase for the season 2019-2020, an appointment of chairman federal land commission, chairman federal board of intermediate and secondary education will approve an extension of his deputation tenure.
Cabinet members will review the hiring procedure of Recruiting and Testing Agency in ministries, divisions and appointments.
Advance decisions for the establishment of Pakistan-Bosnia Joint Economic Commission are also part of the 17-point agenda.
Nonetheless, the ministry of education will not only table their suggestions for establishing single-curriculum based educational system across the country, but it will also apprise cabinet members regarding the reforms made in education and educational system.
Discussion on selling vacant properties of federal ministers within Pakistan will also take place in the meeting.
Moreover, cabinet members are also likely to issue legal and constituional directives on summary tabled by the defence ministry.
