FIA arrests one for telephone banking fraud

FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Faisalabad wing , has arrested an accused of telephone banking fraud from Jhang on Saturday.
According to reports, on the complaint of Muhammad Sadeeq, resident of Abbottabad, the FIA carried out investigation into bank fraud. The complainant had claimed that Rs105000 were withdrawn from his bank account.
According to assistant director FIA, Cyber Crime Wing, Shoaib Haroon , the investigators traced suspect Asif, who used to call people pretending to be a bank officer and gather their account details.
He said that the suspect was using a fake ID to trick people and transferred money into his own bank account. He said that the FIA arrested Asif in Jhang.
