Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, attended the Pakistan Navy commissioning parade held on Saturday at the Pakistan Naval Academy, PNS Rahbar. The ceremony marked the commissioning of the 123rd Midshipmen and the 31st Short Service Commission (SSC) Course.
Field Marshal Munir was the chief guest at the naval commissioning ceremony. Upon arrival, he received a ceremonial salute from a smartly dressed Pakistan Navy contingent. He then inspected the parade ground with full military protocol.
The event was held in a dignified setting, with light showers adding to the ceremonial mood. Families of the graduating officers, senior naval officials, and other dignitaries were present to witness the significant occasion.
During the Pakistan Navy commissioning parade, Field Marshal Munir presented awards to cadets who showed excellence in various aspects of their training. Midshipman Abdul Rehman received the prestigious Sword of Honour for his exceptional performance.
In his address, Field Marshal Asim Munir congratulated the graduating cadets. He praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Navy and acknowledged its critical role in safeguarding the country’s maritime borders. He also expressed strong confidence in the abilities and commitment of the newly commissioned officers.
