A powerful Asim Munir Warns Afghanistan and India with Firm Message After Becoming Pakistan’s First CDF echoed from the General Headquarters (GHQ), as Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir addressed officers from all three armed services. His remarks clarified Pakistan’s security posture, regional policy, and tri-services restructuring under the newly established Defence Forces Headquarters.
CDF Asim Munir delivered a direct warning to the Taliban regime. He declared that the Afghan rulers must choose either Pakistan or the “Fitna al-Khawarij,” adding that there is no third option. He emphasized that Pakistan seeks peace but will not tolerate any threat to its sovereignty or territorial integrity.
Speaking firmly, Asim Munir cautioned India against miscalculations, advising New Delhi not to indulge in self-deception. He stressed that Pakistan’s response, if provoked, would be “even swifter and far more severe” than before, reaffirming Pakistan’s strong defensive capabilities.
Defence Forces Headquarters, A Historic Reform
The CDF highlighted the structural transformation brought by the establishment of the Defence Forces Headquarters. He said that modern warfare demands unified tri-service operations, and the new structure will synchronize all operational domains.

He noted that while individuality of Army, Navy, and Air Force remains intact, joint operational readiness will be stronger than ever.

Field Marshal Asim Munir stated that Pakistan’s defence stands firm on the courage of soldiers and the resolve of a united nation. He affirmed that no external force can shake Pakistan’s strategic foundation.
Earlier, Asim Munir received a ceremonial guard of honour after assuming duties as Pakistan’s first Chief of Defence Forces. Personnel from Army, Navy, and Air Force participated, marking a moment of national unity and institutional cohesion.
